Dr. Jeffrey Cofie is a board-certified optometrist with a special interest and expertise in the treatment and management of ocular disease. After graduating from East Carolina University, he went on to earn his doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.

Upon graduating, Dr. Cofie had completed several clinical externships in different modes of practice, including The Eye Institute of Philadelphia and the W.G. “Bill” Hefner VA Medical Center. He advanced his education by completing a residency in complex disease management and cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Cofie has strong clinical proficiency in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, binocular vision disorders, specialty contact lens fittings, and co-management of pre-and post-operative surgical procedures. He is an active member of many top optometric organizations including the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and Optometric Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Society (OCCRS). He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry (ABO). Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, playing racquetball, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Cofie is committed to providing excellent eye care to his patients and is honored to work with the talented professionals at Eyesight Associates. He is currently seeing patients at our Warner Robins – South Office and Cordele locations.
